OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Safety & Health
OHSA Outreach courses are provided in partnership with HSI (Summit Training Source), an OSHA-authorized online Outreach provider.

This 30-hour General Industry safety training course provides a comprehensive overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. This course is designed for anyone involved in general industry, specifically foremen, supervisors, managers, safety committee members, safety staff, and others with responsibility for workplace safety. The program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.

Target Audience
OSHA recommends outreach courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers. However, some states have enacted laws mandating the training. Some employers, unions, organizations, and other jurisdictions may require this training.

Individuals have 180 days to complete training from the start of the program and receive an OSHA course completion card upon finishing.
